Veckans torahkommentar kommer att kretsa omkring Herrens förberedelser inför händelserna, när han skulle befria sitt folk från slaveriet i Egypten. Kanske att den mest kända utläggningen över detta är den som beskrivs i det judiska påskfirandet, i den så kallade sedermåltiden. Denna måltid är indelad i fyra delar och varje del markeras av en bägare med vin som enligt traditionen har speciella namn hämtade från 2 Mos 6:6, 7:
”Säg därför till Israels barn: Jag är HERREN. Jag skall föra er ut från tvångsarbetet hos egyptierna och rädda er från slaveriet under dem och jag skall återlösa er med uträckt arm och genom stora straffdomar. Förekommer det någonstans några kommentarer eller analyser kring de uttalanden som här nedan finns från TALMUD, och finns det någonstans några förklaringar kring hur, var och varför dessa utsagor har kommit till och under vilka omständigheter, och om de har någon som helst relevans idag? Följande utsagor kanske man helt enkelt skall lämna därhän och inte försöka förstå sig på, därför att de helt enkelt inte har någon betydelse?:

What does it mean that we have a respected religion being practiced in the UK whose ‘Holy Book’ contains the material quoted below?
One can only gasp that any writer could commit such thoughts to paper.
Could any document possibly be more hate-filled or hateful?
It was the Pharisees who created this branch of Judaism. Is it any wonder that Christ condemned them as being ”of Satan” and of being ”blind guides” to their Jewish flock.
We might wonder how it is that Christianity and Islam are under regular attack in the U.K. as a result of various recent parliamentary laws and increasingly malign attention from the mainstream media……
……whilst THIS RELIGION remains entirely untouched.
What does this fact tell us about who is in charge in this country?

In New York City, Jewish Menorahs are a part of city displays during Hanukkah, as are the Islamic star and crescent during Ramadan. Nativity scenes during Christmas are banned, however. The Talmud fairly bulges with expressions of animosity for the goyim (that’s you and me) and, especially, Christianity, which itself simply turns the other cheek, of course. Normally, I would give just a couple of examples, but I am going to let this list to go on at some length, just so you get a flavor of the depth of hostility for us that exists in Jewish teachings – the hostility that has led to so many things that now are wrong with America, including the destruction of Christmas, of course:

Vill bara säga att det är ett fantastiskt sätt att läsa Gud ord på det här sättet.
När jag läste den anvisade texten så undrade jag just hur det kom sig att Gud gjorde Faraos hjärta så hårt och sedan när jag läste ur häftet fick jag mig en förklaring. Gud är så god!! Jag blir så tacksam när jag än en gång inser vilken nåd Han har som låter frälsningen vara tillgänglig för alla som vill vända om från sin synd! Halleluja!!!

Jag trodde inte att jag skulle få stöta på antisemiska drapor, med bifogade länkar till nazistiska hemsidor, på ett kristet forum.
Till Mikael vill jag säga en en sansad diskussion om judendomen inte kan föras på grundval av citat handplockade och hopsamlade av uttalade antisemiter. Om du hyser en ärlig önskan att förstå mer om judendomen föreslår jag dig att närma dig källorna i en mer ödmjuk och förbehållslös anda.
Eller låt Kristus, en jude men i mina ögon ett större föredöme än de självutnämnda profeter som kan hittas på Internets alla obskyra sidor, upplysa ditt sinne.
Som troende kristen skall jag inkludera dig i mina böner.
